**Job Summary**
This is a 12-month **fixed-term** position.
Under the supervision of the Sr Global Procurement Manager, the Procurement / Sourcing Associate, Clinical Ancillaries is responsible for:
**Procurement**: the execution of the company’s procurement activities to global and regional suppliers ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services
**Strategic Supplier **Management**: the identification of global and regional suppliers to ensure ancillaries can be optimally procured and distributed in multiple countries
**Scale of Responsibilities**
**Procurement** Process **Management**:
- Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the inventory management team to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Implement and maintain procurement policies and procedures.
**Strategic **Supplier **Management**:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with global and regional suppliers based on the specificities of the regions
- Keep an eye on supplier performance using essential metrics
**Contract **Negotiation** and **Management**:
- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
**Cost** Management and **Analysis**:
- Monitor and analyze procurement costs to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities and cost analyses.
**Quality** **Assurance**:
- Ensure that all procured goods and services meet the company’s quality standards.
- Address and resolve any issues related to supplier performance or product quality.
**Cross-**functional** **Collaboration**:
- Great teammate Work closely with other departments, such as Business Development, Project Management, Finance and Logistics, to ensure alignment of procurement activities with overall company goals.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve procurement processes and practices.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Some experience in procurement/buying is desirable.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Metrics and data oriented: demonstrate ability to analyze and leverage on data to drive procurement strategies and decisions.
- Experience working in highly regulated industries.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently with high degree of autonomy and decision-making.
- Experience in life sciences, medical device, or pharmaceutical industries is preferred.
- Proficient written and verbal communications skills, English is required, knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft office
