**Missions et responsabilités**
As**_ WCM Champion, _**you report to a Cluster WCM Director within the Saint-Gobain Group Operational Excellence Programs team. You are part of the team driving the operational performance improvement using the World Class Manufacturing Program. You have expertise in several WCM pillars (Health & Safety, Quality & Process Control, Reliability, Industrial Efficiency) and a good knowledge of WCM Methods & Tools, proved by practical usage.
**Main responsibilities are**:
- Develop the WCM standards and frameworks to ensure an effective implementation in the Business.
- Support the delivery of the savings / improvement plan in specific factories nominated by the Cluster Director
**Main tasks are**:
- Regular communication & exposure to Operations Directors & Plant managers to work together on deployment of regional/country/site WCM Roadmap.
- As a member of central OPEX team, deliver Yellow belt and Green belt trainings and coach local trainers in the implementation.
- As lead auditor regularly perform assessments/coaching of sites on the unique SG WCM model in all businesses. Moreover, to coach the auditors in training.
- To proactively coach & train the cluster WCM regional/country champions & facilitators on World Class Manufacturing model to achieve the desired performance targets in their perimeter.
- To define, share & promote best practices throughout your businesses.
- Support coordination of plant support with other central functions (4.0, Innovation)
**Key indicators are**:
- Customer Satisfaction (measured by feedback surveys)
- WCM Manufacturing Savings (hard savings from projects)
- Sustainable Operational KPI improvement
You will work in an International environment, in a position allowing significant further career development. You will work on a global scale with extensive travel of up to 50% of your time. Therefore, localization within a Saint-Gobain site in Europe convenient for travel, though not preferred, can be considered.
**Profil recherché** Job Requirements**:
- Engineer background
- 5/ 6 years’ experience minimum in operational roles in either logistics or manufacturing environments
- Demonstrated experience of using continuous improvement techniques to improve performance
- Fully fluent in English
**Personal Attributes**:
- Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of Risk Assessment and health & safety in operations
- Operational management experience within a manufacturing or logistics environment
- Continuous improvement methodologies (at least one green belt preferred)
- Knowledge on Project Management
- Quality Systems (could be ISO9001 / IATF)
- Capable with at least EXCEL and Micro strategy as analytic tools
- Management and Soft skills
- Open minded and forward thinker. Proactive on proposing new ideas and solutions.
- Highly developed empathy with the ability to deploy situational leadership
- Strong abilities to challenge the _status quo_ to consistently drive for improved results accordingly to business orientations
- Strong communication skills to convey the vision in a manner readily accessible and understandable to all types of stakeholder.
- Active listening and ability for conflict management and objection handling
- Strong Change Management skills
**Qui sommes-nous ?**
Technology et Industrial Performance (TIP) is an international central team composed of approximately 550 employees located in several establishments in France and abroad. Its mission is to define and implement the energy and environmental roadmap while providing technical support to the Group's plants, particularly in the Construction businesses such as Gypsum, Insulation, Mortars, and Glass.
TIP is also responsible for R&D programs for Products and Processes in the Construction businesses, strategic investment management, and capacity allocation among countries. Additionally, TIP oversees the Group's Operational Excellence Programs (Industry and Supply Chain), digitalization of Operations, and Technical Training for various Industrial Activities within the Group.
