You will join the central treasury of the group (ArcelorMittal Treasury SNC), which is responsible for the global cash and financing centralization, as well as the overall risk management.

**The environment**

To reinforce and structure its organization, to optimize its missions and activities, and enhance its efficiency, ArcelorMittal Treasury IS department is looking for an IS support engineer.

You will report to the head of the IS department.

**The Job content**

Provide and organize support activity for the entire scope of the Treasury Information System

This responsibility encloses:

- Pro-active monitoring of the Treasury Management System processes every morning
- Assistance/Support of users in their daily tasks, (Front-Office/Middle-Office/Back-Office)
- Troubleshooting of any issue that might be revealed by business users and/or error logs.
- Provide prompt, effective day-to-day support, accurately identify and resolve issues.
- Perform controlled incident resolution including prioritisation and escalation, involving business and technology partners as appropriate
- Follow established processes/standards, business technology architecture, risk, and production capacity guidelines; plan, monitor and escalate issues as required
- Comply with both disaster and business recovery plans (and help define, review, and test these plans)
- Identify common support issues (including root cause) and recommend changes to improve future platform supportability
- Help Test & Accept new releases in a UAT capacity and manage promotion to production
- Work with traders and Ops, across multiple asset classes, trade life cycles, static and market data required for trade flow
- Perform support training, user configuration and permissioning associated with on-boarding new users
- Periodic out-of-hours support, and shift work required.

**The profile**:

- Within the IS team, multidisciplinary expertise is essential to maintain a strong level of autonomy for its members.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (3 to 5 years) or equivalent in Software
- Engineering, Computer Science or an equivalent Engineering degree.
- **Significant experience is required in the technical management of any Treasury Management System solution software with good knowledge of functional aspects (Front to back transactions processing, payments, accounting process / payment vs account statements matching).**:

- Proven ability to work in full autonomy and adaptable
- Ability to build relationships, interface effectively with all levels of the organization. Ability to influence across functional teams and manage relationships across multiple cultures
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Fluency in French a plus.

**Skills Required**:

- Experience of supporting any of the following solutions : KTP/Diapason/Eurosys/Talentia/TRAX/Calypso/Axway Gateway
- SQL and /or Oracle DBMS experience
- Supporting a varied and dynamic environment within a bank, hedge fund or similar with some product knowledge in the asset classes of FX, Commodities, IRS and MM
- Strong fault diagnosis and problem-solving with Java debugging
- Bright, assured self-starter with a thirst for learning and development outstanding collaboration and communication skills are essential
- Communication (both verbal and written)
- Team player, with business and customer Service focus
- Testing and automation experience a plus, as will be part of role
- Good knowledge of Data Reporting
