Ee Architect

At Gaussin Macnica Mobility, we design and develop autonomous passenger shuttles and autonomous good transport vehicles aiming to reach autonomous SAE Level 4.

We develop in-house the full software solution stack (referred as “NavyaDrive©”), including embedded and offboard SW, to be able to provide a complete solution.

We develop and produce ours rolling robotized platforms in-house or with partners (depending on the platform)

As an EE architect Engineer, you will be member of the architecture team in the Product Design and Program Management Department.

You will be responsible to define and maintain the electric electronic architecture of the platform, ensuring functional and organic consistency, functional and performance allocation of the platform architecture, lead the correct adaptation between the NavyaDrive and the platform.

**Missions**

Main but not limitative missions of the EE architect Engineer will be:

- Responsible to define and update the EE architecture of the platform, including organic interface.
- In particular:

- Gather all requirements from stakeholders (performance, diagnosis, safety, cyber, regulations) related to EE architecture changes.
- Lead the correct adaptation between the NavyaDrive and the platform: converge to the best technical solutions; allocate functional to the organic architecture.
- Formalize the EE architecture synoptic of the platform.
- Active support regarding integration study, prototyping or test equipment modernization.
- Define the interface exchange with and within the platform (DBC management: frame/ signal definition, I/O wire, connectors, harness, etc.).
- Arbitrate interface behavior with the platform.
- Follow integration test on HIL bench, supporting validation team.
- Lead problem resolution on issues & bugs when related to platform or interfaces with internal teams and/or suppliers & partners.
- Quantify and analyze performance of the architecture.
- Support evolution and maintenance of the architecture.

Several roles are needed, therefore profiles focused on the process (understanding of standards and their breakdown into cascading documents and requirements to internal and external stakeholders) and other profiles more technical (implementation, tests) can be considered.

**Requirements**:

- Technical diploma (MSc, Engineer degree,) in the relevant area
- 2+ years’ experience.
- Experience within Automotive embedded ECU and knowledge of automotive networks (CAN, LIN,).
- Able to lead architecture changes across the whole R&D, Teams or partners and reach acceptable compromises.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- o Strong team-player, able to discuss and be respected by embedded HW/SW developers and partners.
- Fluent in French and English
- Knowledgeable on ISO/SAE 21434 standards, and UN R155 & 156 regulations.
- Nice to have: knowledge and/or experience in autonomous driving or ADAS and related technologies
