- Our Consumer Products Market Insights (CMI) managers are key partners and work closely with development and sales teams to provide in depth consumer understanding knowledge and market insights at each step of the fragrance development. The Insights they generate guide, influence and inspire the fragrance journey. _
- As a CMI Manager for Fabric Care, you will manage the Consumer Market Insight activity in Western and Eastern Europe for our key international customers, take the coordination lead on global projects and provide consumer market insight expertise on a specific category of products, in our European Creative Center, near Paris. _
- This role is based in Argenteuil, France._
- In this role, you will report to the Category Director of Fabric Care._

**In this exciting role you will**:
**_Provide Consumer and Product Insights to the Western and Eastern European Fragrance Business:_**:

- you will partner with Evaluation, Perfumers, Sales, Marketing and work closely on regional and cross-regional MR projects throughout the development cycle; you will recommend the best methodology or approach to reach the objectives and provide in depth interpretation of results (qualitative or quantitative) to guide fragrance development and selection but also marketing _

**_Be your client’s research expert:_**:

- you will discuss and review CMI needs, help drawing olfactive hypothesis, discuss test methodologies to produce most relevant information and present results through olfactive recommendations to internal and external customers by meeting critical timelines. _

**_Partner with Evaluation and Sales teams:_**:

- you will help to use the information into creations and selections as well as to present them to clients, carrying out specific analyses as needed including marketing, concept and consumer understanding; you will be in direct contact with clients, to discuss and review CMI strategies, methodologies and test results. _

**_Strategic CMI vision and innovation:_**:

- you will participate with your peers to the CMI roadmap and ambition focused on new and innovative approaches or tools._

**Your professional profile includes**:

- _Advanced degree in Food Science, Consumer Sciences, Chemistry, Marketing, Biology or related area._
- _Min 5 years of experience in Consumer Insights ideally in the fragrance or related industry or market research company, with exposure to FMCG companies_
- _Demonstrated knowledge and use of consumer testing techniques (both quantitative and qualitative fundamentals), methodologies, design, statistical approaches and modeling (programing in R is a plus). Use of statistical software for analysis of research data_
- _Experience of having run product tests with customer groups/ ability to analyse product test data_
- _Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously_
- _Presentation skills to clearly communicate consumer findings. Ability to transform data into actionable insights and inspiring stories_
- _Fluency in English._
