**Mechanical Engineer (F/M)**

RAKON France is human sized company, with focus on Space and Newspace activities.

To strengthen our “Space and Defence Systems” Business Unit, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer (F/M) with the skills and enthusiasm to significantly enhance Rakon’s competitive position.

**About The Job**

You will be responsible for mechanical and thermal design of space equipment (Mechanical engineer).

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Mechnical design and specification
- Thermal design and specification
- Implementation of 3D model
- Modelization of thermal design
- Modelization of mechanical design
- Technical documentation

**Key Competencies**:

- At least 5-8 years of experience in space equipment
- Design tools: Solidworks (or alternatively CATIA), Nastran/ANSYS (or alternatively COMSOL)
- Knowledge of ECSS space norms (or similar)
- Practice V-cycle development
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in French

**Expected experience**:

- Expected design experience in the SPACE industry sector

**Education and Behavior**:

- A degree (BEng/MEng) in mechanical Engineering or Engineer graduated from a mechanical engineering school.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
- Team spirit, effective communication skills
- Leadership, ability to inspire
- Strong innovation sense, solution oriented
- Meticulous, methodical, persevering
