The International Service for Remunerations and Pensions (ISRP) provides studies on remuneration and pension policies of International Civil Servants and operates the administration of pensions for the Co-ordinated Organisations (OECD, NATO, the European Space Agency, the Council of Europe, the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts and the European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites) and other International Organisations. The ISRP also administers pension reserve funds for several International Organisations.

The ISRP is administratively attached to the OECD.

The ISRP’s Payroll Administration Unit (PAU) calculates and pays benefits on behalf of the international organisations.

The ISRP is looking for a payroll officer who, under the supervision of the Deputy and Head of the Payroll Administration Unit, will carry out various payroll administrative and accounting tasks.

**Main Responsibilities**

Pension file management
- Prepare the personal files of pensioners at beginning of entitlement and keep them up-to-date; draft and send welcome letters and additional information to the pensioners.
- Calculate the rights of new pensioners.
- Check data integrity and validity by ensuring compliance with the Pension Scheme Rules.
- Maintain and update pay software for monthly payment of pension benefits, conduct scanning and archiving of files.
- Contribute to monthly administration (changes, payroll report, transmission of data and payments listings to Organisations).
- Control and follow-up of individual files, including cessation of rights.

Questionnaires management
- Process pensioners responses to annual questionnaires and promptly enter in pay software any changes in situation.
- Send the appropriate reminders when applicable.

Client service
- Maintain good relationship with pensioners, inform pensioners on rules and regulations in force.
- Act as interface for people and services concerned (financial and HR services of the Organisations, banks, notaries, executors of decedents’ estates, accounting offices) to solve problems of misdirected bank transfers or liquidation of decedents’ estates.
- Ensure high quality client service.
- Solve problems quickly and independently.

Other administrative tasks
- Carry out other administrative and secretarial work as required by the ISRP.

Academic Background
- Knowledge of payroll operations. Knowledge of HR Access payroll software would be an advantage.

Professional Background
- 4 years' experience as a payroll officer or naccountant preferably in an international environment.
- Knowledge of French social security salary deductions would be an advantage.

Tools
- Very good knowledge of the advanced functions of Word and Excel.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Access would be an advantage.

Languages
- Fluency in one of the two OECD official languages (English and French) and a knowledge of, or a willingness to learn, the other.
- Fluency in German would be an asset.
- A good knowledge of Dutch would be an asset.

**Contract** Duration**
- Two-year fixed term appointment, with the possibility of renewal.
