**The Role & Team**
The product team is composed of 4 feature squads: 2 core squads, 2 new initiatives squads. You will own one of the core squads serving 200M+ end users from the 19M Discord servers using our product. There is tons of room to improve MEE6 and create more value for our massive user base with ever growing needs.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated product thinker and doer, driven by impact. You’ll need to make decisions based on data and solid user understanding and drive analyses to inform priorities and decisions across your products. This is a key strategic role, so you’ll need to bring excellent product and business acumen, as well as teamwork skills and thought leadership.
**Responsibilities**:
- Own half of our core product and successfully take advantage of its huge potential to further expand its reach and impact, while collaborating with the other Core Lead PM and the CPO
- Act autonomously and take ownership
- Work closely with all teams to identify the best opportunities and define the best solutions to create maximum value with a strong agile and impact driven mindset
- Be an advocate for Discord users as we create great products that improve how friends talk and hang out online regularly
- Evaluate and improve the products and features you launch methodically and critically
- Challenge assumptions and think outside the box to find ways to improve your products
- Strong sense of user experience and user interface design, and ability to work effectively with designers
- Partner with the rest of the product team to continuously improve our products, product organization and uphold our workplace philosophy
**Requirements**:
- 6-8 years product manager experience in a startup environment
- Experience owning and driving a product roadmap
- Solid consumer product experience with a digital native user base
- Passion for user experience, end to end. You make flows flow and understand what customers expect and focus on be
- Very familiar with the Discord ecosystem or extremely enthusiastic to immerse yourself in this universe
- Macro-to-micro versatility: strategic mindset coupled with a keen attention to detail
- Well-rounded interpersonal skills, and experience interacting with diverse personalities
Nice to have
- Saas product experience
- French language (but MEE6’s primary language is English, so don’t worry)
- A hustler mentality, founding a company or building side projects is a plus
