**Position Summary**

The Payroll Analyst position is responsible for supporting tasks related to the execution, support, and analysis of payroll processing in the France cluster, which includes Belgium, France, Greece, Netherlands, and Turkey. This role will prepare payroll inputs using templates provided by the third-party payroll provider, work with HR to ensure data accuracy, coordinate payroll calculation with third-party provider, perform all validations and audits of payroll data, and review payroll results. This includes working cross-functionally with partners in HR, Finance, the Business, etc. to be aware of potential payroll-impacting business changes, and assisting with specific payroll activities (e.g., final pay, severance leaves and disability, time-off and work schedule changes). This role will also work with the third-party payroll provider to help resolve payroll processing issues and will also provide employee inquiry support. This role will be required to work independently and may assist in specialized assignments, ensure that deliverables meet or exceed individual objectives, adhere to payroll goals, and align with overall cluster strategies.

The Payroll Analyst role reports to the Cluster Payroll Lead. As part of the day-to-day role, Payroll Analysts will interact with both internal entities like HR and Finance and external entities like third-party payroll providers and tax authorities.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Processing of Country payroll inputs using the Country specific Payroll vendor template(s) and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all payroll cycles
- Collaboration with HR in Country and other functions to ensure all data is complete and received within payroll deadlines for processing
- Support payroll calculation process with third-party payroll provider or in-house processing team
- Manage employee and manager payroll inquiries, calls, and cases in a timely manner
- Support the development of internal and external communications for specific payroll processes.
- Support month end, quarter end and year end payroll returns completion.
- Analyze and perform pre-run audits, reconciliations, base-to-base calculations, off-cycle requests, retroactive requests, and corrections.
- Review, analyze, and reconcile payroll and other payroll related data according to established timelines, standards, and procedures. Examine and verify payroll related data for accuracy and consistency.
- Perform all tasks under adherence to company, tax authority, and other applicable compliance requirements (including SOX).
- Document and review payroll operations procedures. Work with the Cluster Lead to contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of documentation (e.g., Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions) to ensure complete, accurate, and up-to-date depiction of processes.
- Assist the Cluster Lead with day-to-day task planning and special projects.

**Qualifications**
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required
- A minimum of 2-4 years of prior experience in payroll processing is required
- English and French language proficiency is required
- Demonstrate a basic familiarity with payroll processes related to time & attendance data, disability/leaves, separations, and similar processes that result in a payroll-impacting transaction.
- Prior Experience with payroll processes, procedures, controls, regulations, and compliance is preferred
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail a must.
- A sense of urgency in resolving customer requests and an ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
- A high degree of confidentiality, data protection assurance, conformity with payroll policies, procedures, and external regulations and agencies is required
- Verbal and written communication skills are required
- Knowledge and/or Experience with leading third-party payroll providers (NGA, SDWorx, etc.), Kronos, Salesforce Service Cloud, Workday is preferred
- Prior experience in a multi-national company, and/or experience in a Service Center Environment preferred
- Proficiency in interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully work with internal stakeholders and colleagues to contribute ideas, identify opportunities, and contribute to positive outcomes.
- Experience working on payroll projects. Able to process complex information and identify solutions that meet both internal and business partner requirements
- Demonstrate ability to disseminate knowledge and techniques. Experience providing feedback to help others understand the rationale of desired outcomes and standards
