The laboratory of Signalling and Cardiovascular Pathophysiology (UMR-S 1180) has an open position for a full-time tenure track “**Junior Professor Chair**” to perform independent and innovative research complementary to the current lines of research in heart failure, arrhythmias, cardio-oncology, or cardiovascular genetic diseases/therapies. Our laboratory is affiliated to both Inserm and the University Paris-Saclay, and is currently exploring physiological and pathological mechanisms focusing on energy metabolism, cyclic nucleotides, and calcium handling in cellular (including hiPSC-cardiomyocytes) and animal experimental models. The laboratory is located in a brand-new research building (2022) of the rapidly expanding Paris-Saclay campus, 20 km south of Paris, and is equipped with state-of-the-art techniques dedicated to _in vivo_ cardiovascular phenotyping (telemetry, echocardiography), isolated heart studies (electrical/optical mapping), and analyses at the cellular and subcellular analysis (confocal microscopy, FRET, patch-clamp, high resolution oxygraphy). Furthermore, there is easy access to a large variety of technological core facilities directly in the building or on the campus.
