**Summary**
The Health-Safety-Environment (HSE) Manager reports to Global EHS Director and works closely with the HR Department. The HSE Manager will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of health, safety, environment related to the company's activities in compliance with legal obligations. He/she is committed to fulfilling this mission in the best interests of the company.
**Daile Responsibilities**:
Assist in:
- Risk assessment
- The definition and implementation of provisions relating to preventive measures and means (definition of dose constraints, delimitation of zones, etc.)
- Definition and implementation of measures relating to the conditions of employment of workers (individual assessment of the risk linked to ionizing radiation, individual protection measures, information and training in worker safety)
- The definition and implementation of provisions relating to the monitoring of individual exposure of workers in conjunction with the occupational physician
- Coordination of preventive measures relating to radiation protection
- Investigation and analysis of significant events
Perform or supervise:
- Measurements
- Verification of the effectiveness of preventive measures
In addition, the HSE manager ensures the:
- Management of nuclear training
- Relations with official bodies and customers
- Participation in annual meetings Prevention plans on customer sites
- Management of external SGS/CEFRI audits
Health-Safety-Environment:
- Optimize internal and external procedures in conjunction with the departments and customers concerned
Updating and making available prevention plans and associated documents drawn up with customers
- Participation in annual Prevention Plan meetings on customer sites
- Complete the HSE sections of calls for tender and any other HSE-related questionnaire
- Participate actively in the SSCT
- Evaluate risks (update of the document unique)
- Advise and sensitize the different departments of the company in terms of HSE through internal communication
Continuous improvement actions:
- Internal HSE audits on customer sites
- Listening to customer complaints and integrating specifications into the quality system
- Regulatory monitoring of HSE aspects
Administrative management of specific training documents:
- Medical aptitude form, authorization to work under ionizing radiation, exposure form
- Management of nuclear, electrical, chemical and biological clearances
**Basic Requirements**
Holder of a Bac +3 to 5 in the scientific or technical field with a minimum of 3 years experience in an equivalent position, and or
Holder of a diploma such as DUT or Licence Pro Hygiene, Security and Environment with a minimum of 2 years experience in an equivalent position
Good command of computers and English (read, spoken and written)
Interest in the scientific field: analytical chemistry/life sciences
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Ability to adapt and dialogue with multiple interlocutors (auditors, suppliers, customers, employees, etc.)
- Rigor and good administrative management
- Fluent English
