**About Smart Host**:
Smart Host is a B2B SaaS platform in the hospitality industry. We empower hotels to put their data to work. We collect, clean, and enrich guest data from both internal and external data sources. Combining this data with analytics and multi-channel messaging allows us to take guest communication and marketing efforts to a new level. Our typical clients are not necessarily tech-savvy, so it’s on us to skyrocket them into the digital marketing age by simplifying the experience to the maximum through great usability.

Our growth and product development require increased specialization of the development team. We introduce a DevOps Engineer role. As part of our backend team, you will take care of our infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and automation. **Tasks**:

- Develop and maintain scalable infrastructure on GCP using Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines with tools like Flux CD, and GitHub Actions using GitOps approach.
- Monitor and improve system performance and reliability through effective logging and monitoring.
- Automate infrastructure and release processes to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate new technologies and optimize existing systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly.
- Optimize cloud runtime budgets and work on cost-reduction strategies.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in infrastructure management using GCP, Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Flux CD / Argo CD, and GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with backend technologies like Java and scripting languages (Shell).
- Solid understanding of networking, operating systems, and distributed computing.
- Commitment to code quality and continuous improvement.
- Ability to identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions.
- Passion for extending and sharing professional knowledge.
