**Définition**:
**Activités et missions principales**:
**Primary responsibilities**
- Lead design and development of battery pack systems and other related mechanical designs through analysis, design, and testing.
- Create design concepts for industrialization of battery pack systems HV and LV.
- Provide technical leadership for design and manufacturing related matters.
- Maintain ownership of Mechanical design and associated program deliverables, including cost.
- Support Design team drawing release to meet internal and external deliverables.
- Review product validation/verification plans to ensure requirements are met.
- Keep team members and management appraised of project progress and roadblocks.
- Create product DFMEAs, support APQP process, DFM techniques, and PPAP principles.
- Maintain cost reduction roadmap by working with suppliers as well as team members to implement low-cost design options and supplier pricing actions.
- Coordinate builds for Design Validation as well as DOE testing activities.

**Specific Skills/Abilities**
- Possesses exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Working level knowledge of Design CAD Software. Fundamental understanding of Creo and or Solid Works.
- Strong skills set with Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel preferred.
- General comprehension of Product Lifecycle System or release system.
- Strong aptitude regarding quality, accuracy & efficiency of product design release process.
- Ability and willingness to work on multiple projects at one time and be able to adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience with GD&T and ASME Y14.1 drawing principles.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and excel in a self-directed work environment as well as within a cross functional team.

**Profil**:

- Bachelor’s and or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- 5+ years in a related engineering discipline in a professional market preferred.
- Knowledge of industry specifications as it pertains to UL, CE certifications and IP ratings.
- Training and use of standard quality disciplines (8D, FMEA, APQP, DOE, etc.).
