The role offered belongs to Finance Transformation department part of the Global Business Performance department, thus reports to the Finance Transformation Managing Director.
The team Consists of two direct reports one managing the Qliksense team based in Bangalore (India) and dedicated today to GFCs, the other one managing the Qlikview team based in France.
Main tasks are described below but might not be limited to it.
Role can evolve over time as it’s a creation.
- **Global Governance for the Finance Function**
- Coordinate single points of contact nominated in each finance department (Treasury, Tax, Consolidation, Accounting & GFCs, FP&A Group, FP&A Regions)
- Animation of Certified Business Intelligence Finance Citizens Developers
- Manage the internal Finance capacity plan & ensure the expert team is informed about the market trends
- Be the Finance representative during IS&T BI committee
- Be the Finance representative in front of the other functions BI representative
- **Finance BI Report Catalogue Management**
- Evaluate all available existing reports being the Finance one or cross functions,
- Validate the Requests or reorient to existing dashboard(s) (With Data Owner)
- Be able to collect the business needs and translate them into development mode
- Be able to prioritize the requests, manage the planning & the delivery (Quality Costs Delivery)
- Interact with IS&T for dashboards development (and/or Finance Citizen Devs when IS&T has capacity challenges)
- **Communication Role**
- Animate Finance BI Committee
- Certify & Promote the existing catalogue (& Assess the quality of it)
- Organize Webinars within finance (with other function if required)
The role requires good interpersonal skills working either internally with
- Finance community as whole incl. Alstom Finance Leadership team
- IS&T Organization as the main Business Partner
- Any functions required to promote/understand/design BI Reports
Or Externally with
- Consultants
- Other companies for benchmark
Mandatory experience is as follow:
- 10 years of experience in international operational finance combined with tools roll out &/or BI development experience
- Has expertise and understanding of Finance ERPs & Systems (SAP, financial consolidation tools, QlikView, BI Tools)
- Has good finance, accounting, controlling knowledge and experience.
- Has a strong appetite on systems and processes
- Has excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate, guide, influence and convince others, while working in a cross functional, international & diverse organization.
While Compentiencies & skills looked at are:
- Project Management skills (PMI or equivalent certification)
- Finance controlling experience
- Capacity to work in an international environment
- Autonomous
- Adaptability to change
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in French and English)
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations, excel skills
