Job description

Join us as a Fixed Income Sales Analyst
- Are you interested in a role where you’ll deliver our markets platform in Rates to our clients in France to identify new opportunities?
- You’ll help your team in France with institutional investors and focus on our rates products, including government and covered bonds and SSAs, and derivatives

What you’ll do

As a Fixed Income Sales Analyst, you’ll focus on our flow business, where we aim to be the top tier liquidity provider, to support our French institutional clients, preserve our primary dealership status in France and improve our overall market share, ranking and profitability.

Alongside this, you’ll generate ideas for our clients, develop excellent relationships with institutional clients in France, ensure the efficient operation of the flow business in bonds and derivatives and rely on our economics and strategy research to deliver content and insights.

Your top priorities will include:

- Working with business partners, including traders, economists and colleagues in the Structuring function, to deliver a best in class service to our clients
- Selling authorised NatWest Markets products to approved NatWest Markets clients
- Identifying, understanding and matching our clients' needs with relevant products and tailored client solutions or through an introduction to relevant centres of excellence
- Maintaining and supporting a robust risk control environment
- Implementing a client focus through business strategies, communications and client engagement

The skills you’ll need

To be successful in this role, you’ll need;
- A background in the banking industry and an understanding of fixed income products
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- The ability to face a steep learning curve
- To be team focussed
- The ability to develop your client base in autonomy and proactively look for new business opportunities for the team

In addition, you’ll need be fluent in English and French.
