**Job Description Summary**: The Electrical and Peripheral Engineer will produce / validate Electrical design, dimensioning and customer documentation related to generator electrical, peripheral and control design.
- L'ingénieur(e) conception et périphériques électriques des alternateurs produira/validera la conception électrique, le dimensionnement et la documentation client relative à la conception électrique, périphérique et de contrôle de l'alternateur.

**Main Duties**
- The Electrical and Peripheral Engineer will produce / validate Electrical design, dimensioning and customer documentation related to generator electrical, peripheral and control design. The final design has to be optimized with respect to manufacturability, implementation effort, customer requirement and overall costs.
- The Electrical and Peripheral Engineer works closely with the Project Engineering Manager, Design Engineers in order to get all the information required to meet the functional requirements of the targeted solution. In addition, alignment with excitation team, monitoring & control system and generator & accessories design is necessary to ensure interfaces between components.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and validate peripheral & control philosophy and design
- Issue technical specifications and wiring diagrams for electrical equipment.
- Ensure the delivery of the documents and services on time, at agreed costs, with agreed scope and in the right quality.
- Be the interface with Automation and control Organization and with electrical suppliers.
- Response to customer and site questions, customer presentations
- Technical support of tendering and sales teams, order management in case of questions regarding electrical & peripheral design and calculation tasks.
- Evaluate operation data.
- Handling of special investigations for customers
- Work closely with the other engineering teams in Nuclear New Build organization and provide support where needed
- Communicate with workshop at hand-over and during production phase and provide NCR disposition
- Contribute with innovative concept ideas in New Product Introduction (NPI) definition and execution phase
- Be open for and propose ideas for continuous improvement in the design and engineering process
- Promote teamwork and knowledge sharing in the team
- Follow Company policies and guidelines for Nuclear Safety, Environment, Health and Safety, and Product Safety.

**Required **Competences**

**Education**

**Mandatory (MUST)**
- Master degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Good knowledge of rotating electrical machines, particularly generators and excitation systems.

**Desirable (NICE TO HAVE)**
- Product data management (RPDM/MTA).
- Knowledge of electro-magnetic and thermal calculation of generators.

**Experience**

**Mandatory (MUST)**
- At least 1 year of experience in electrical engineering in the domain of product engineering, service and/or manufacturing.
- Practical experience in use of engineering tools (E3 schematic, Visio, MS Office)

**Desirable (NICE TO HAVE)**
- Experience in a similar position or similar academic projects
