**What You Will Do**:

- Build, develop, and manage a diverse portfolio of clients, including industrial retailers and producers
- Originate and establish partnerships with new counterparties, contributing significantly to the country's profit
- Play a key role in structuring non-standard transactions in collaboration with Trading, Risk, and Back Office teams
- Actively participate in pan-European RFQs and foster best practices exchange with originators in other regions
- Represent Axpo at energy-related conferences and events, enhancing our presence and relationships in the sector
- Lead in the development of Axpo's capabilities in power, gas, and green product origination in France
- Create, prioritize, and manage a database of business leads, becoming an integral member of the local French team

**What You Bring & Who You Are**:

- University degree in engineering economics, preferably with a finance/trading background
- Minimum of 5 years' professional experience in Trading, Structuring, Dealing, and Execution of contracts
- Demonstrated strategic and commercial competencies, with a strong track record in business development in the energy industry
- Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior executives
- Proficiency in English, with excellent communication and presentation skills for international business interactions
- Proven project management abilities, with a focus on analytical and problem-solving skills
