**Position Description**:
Oversee and support the daily operations of the HR department, including hiring, onboarding and offboarding of employees, employee relations, labor relations, benefit administration and general employee services.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Create and execute a recruitment plan and calendar according to plant operational needs. Administer and support new employee orientation and all onboarding needs.
- Reinforce the company policies, rules and procedures to ensure a safe and engaging work environment.
- Ensure compliance with employee labor and HR Federal and State laws and regulations.
- Oversee employee appraisal program, grievance process, employee record report program, employee educational reimbursement, and employee training. Responds to employee inquiries and coordinates and plans company functions.
- Participate in conjunction with payroll in hourly payroll administration at the local level by ensuring timecards are approved in a timely manner, hours worked, taxes, insurance, savings plans, union dues and employee identification numbers from time sheets and other records. Works closely with corporate payroll and assists as needed.
- Prepare any personnel related reports such as separation notices and EEOC reports.
- Performs miscellaneous duties as deemed necessary.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field. 3+ years of experience working in the human resources field with a minimum of 2 years experience in labor relations and compliance.

**Physical Requirements & Work Environment**:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Tâches et responsabilités essentielles
Elaborer gerer un plan de recrutement et un calendrier en fonction des besoins opérationnels de l’usine. Administrer et soutenir l’orientation des nouveaux employés et tous les besoins d’intégration.
Renforcer les politiques, les règles et les procédures de l’entreprise pour assurer un environnement de travail sûr et engageant.
Assurer la conformité avec les lois et la convention collective de la metallurgie en matière de travail et de ressources humaines.
Superviser le programme d’évaluation des employés, le processus disciplinaire le gestion du dossier des employés, le remboursement des études des employés et la formation des employés. Répondre aux demandes des employés et coordonner et planifier les fonctions de l’entreprise.
Participer conjointement avec la paie à, l’administration, des horaires au niveau local en veillant à ce que les éléments mensuels soient approuvés en temps opportun, des heures travaillées, des taxes, les régimes de prévoyance et de retraite, des régimes d’épargne salariale, et autres dossiers. Travaille en étroite collaboration avec la paie de l’entreprise et aide au besoin.
Préparer tous les documents relatifs au personnel, tels que ceux felatifs a la cessation des contrats de travail et les rapports egalite femmes/hommes.
