THE ROLE
Internal Audit is part of a larger department including risk management, internal control, general inspection and compliance thus facilitating synergies and best practices sharing across risk functions.
Reporting to Corporate Internal Audit Director for EMEA HUB, your task will be focused on processes and you will be participating to a large scope of areas, from finance operations to operational topics (HR, Marketing, operations, etc..) at EMEA level.
We are looking for an analytical individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills. You must be able to think critically but also having a creative mind with a strong writing silks.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate onsite in financial and operational audits of entities in EMEA (including head office)
Ensure compliance with corporate policies and financial statements
Ensure control of financial and operational risks, through methodology and studies
Identify dysfunctions to make diagnoses and to propose suggestions, In collaboration with the local management to accompany the change in a logic of continuous improvement
Preparing audit reports and ensure that recommendations are implemented
Based in Marseille, the job requires frequent trips abroad (EMEA zone)
PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business / Accountancy / Finance and Economics
At least 5 years of working experience in internal/external audit, preferably in an international environment and/or with Big 4 audit firm
Advance proficiency in MS Excel and strong data analytics skills
Knowledge in the maritime industry would be highly advantageous
Certified Internal Auditor and IFRS norms would be preferred
Perfectly fluent in English
Must be willing to travel (up to 50% annually)
