OBJECTIVES
- Support Senior Design Engineer developing of Total Water Management (TWM) opportunities: provide project engineering support by developing process flow sheets, preparing proposals & estimates, providing the technical support at meetings with clients.
- Support Senior Design Engineer developing Standard for main Engineering Key Document (P&ID preparation)
- Support Senior Design Engineer developing benchmark database for equipment cost

RECOMMENDED PROFILE & SKILLS
- Education: Chemical / Environmental Engineering Degree
- Background about water and/or wastewater equipment and systems, including clarification, filtration, membrane separation, RO/UF, DAF, solids separation, metals, removal and biological, to industrial clients.
- Familiarity with main Engineering Design Document (Piping& Instrument Diagram, mass balance, flow sheet, data sheet, wiring diagram etc.)
- Communication skills: English fluent written and verbal
- People relating attitude and capable to work in team
- Synthesis and pragmatic approach

" Good command of Microsoft Excel, ability to work with complex formulas/functions are required, VBA development knowledge is considered a plus

" Knowledge of Microsoft Project is considered a plus.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Functionally report in the SGS Engineering organization to the TWM Engineering Manager.
- Based in France and have regular contact with his/her direct supervisor.
- Be competent in a wide range of water treatment process technologies and have proven knowledge of designing water treatment systems (prepare mass balance, flow sheet, water mapping, select equipment and costing, prepare documents to support commercial discussion)
- Be able to communicate with many levels of personnel with Nalco Company and external (i.e. Customer, Contractors).
- Have had experience, even if limited, with plant operation & maintenance.
- Maintain customer relationships and coordinate to address technical/business issues and renewals within sold O&M accounts.
- Be aware of most used international standards and norms required for equipment construction and certification.
- Be aware of Safety & Environmental aspects of legislation.

OBJECTIFS
- Soutenir l’ingénieur de conception principal dans le développement des opportunités de gestion totale de l’eau (TWM) : fournir un soutien technique au projet en élaborant des fiches de flux de processus, en préparant des propositions et des estimations, en fournissant le support technique lors des réunions avec les clients.
- Soutenir l’ingénieur de conception principal dans l’élaboration de la norme pour le document clé d’ingénierie principal (préparation du P&ID)
- Soutenir l’ingénieur de conception principal dans le développement d’une base de données de référence pour les coûts des équipements

PROFIL ET COMPÉTENCES RECOMMANDÉS
- Formation : Diplôme en génie chimique/environnemental
- Connaissances sur les équipements et les systèmes d’eau et/ou d’eaux usées, y compris la clarification, la filtration, la séparation par membrane, le RO/UF, le DAF, la séparation des solides, les métaux, l’élimination et les produits biologiques, pour les clients industriels.
- Familiarité avec le document de conception technique principal (schéma de tuyauterie et d’instrumentation, bilan massique, fiche de débit, fiche technique, schéma de câblage, etc.)
- Compétences en communication : anglais écrit et oral couramment
- Personnes ayant une attitude et capables de travailler en équipe
- Synthèse et approche pragmatique

" Bonne maîtrise de Microsoft Excel, capacité à travailler avec des formules/fonctions complexes requises, connaissance du développement VBA considérée comme un plus

" La connaissance de Microsoft Project est considérée comme un plus.

PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS
- Rendre compte au niveau fonctionnel dans l’organisation SGS Engineering au responsable technique TWM.
- Basé en France et en contact régulier avec son/sa supérieur hiérarchique direct.
- Être compétent dans un large éventail de technologies de traitement des eaux et avoir une connaissance éprouvée de la conception des systèmes de traitement des eaux (préparer le bilan massique, la feuille de débit, la cartographie de l’eau, sélectionner l’équipement et les coûts, préparer des documents pour soutenir les discussions commerciales)
- Être capable de communiquer avec les différents niveaux du personnel, tant avec la société Nalco qu’avec des personnes externes (clients et fournisseurs).

Avoir une expérience, même limitée, de l’exploitation et de la maintenance des installations.
- Entretenir les relations avec la clientèle et coordonner le traitement des problèmes techniques/commerciaux et des renouvellements dans les comptes de F & E vendus.
