Mars Inc. Has a global commitment to protecting and optimizing Associate Health and Wellbeing (AHWB). AHWB at Mars includes the full spectrum of a culture of health, such as healthy leadership engagement, health benefit design/quality assurance, healthy facilities and policies, occupational health management systems, clinical services, and human energy management, etc. This new role is part of the Associate Health and Wellbeing Center of Excellence. The COE partners with key stakeholders to design, implement, embed and govern the Mars’ health strategy.

Specifically, this role will be accountable for regional implementation of enterprise AHWB programs and responsible for developing regional health solutions, regional health networks and regional health governance. The role works in matrixed collaboration with a variety of stakeholders in P&O, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Facilities, business segment leaders, country and site health services, Security, Benefits, external consultants, and others.

Geography includes Western and Eastern Europe.

**What are we looking for?**:
1. Education & Professional Qualification
- Minimum: Bachelor degree in a HWB field. Minimum 5 years population health training and/or experience and proven experience implementing impactful programs.
- Preferred: Post graduate or Master’s degree in a HWB field (eg MPH, MHA, COHN, MD, DO).
- Fluent English speaker. Ability to speak multiple languages is very desirable (eg French, Spanish, German).

2. Knowledge/Experience
- Experience working in population health at the national, regional or international health level.
- Demonstrable success delivering programs to assess and control workplace health risks, to treat illness/injury and manage disability, and to maximize staff wellbeing and performance.
- Business acumen and experience, understanding health & wellbeing in the business context
- Agile and analytical problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

**What will be your key responsibilities?**
- Develop strong and trusted internal stakeholder relationships with both senior leaders and regional executive teams to gain alignment on the business case for investing in health & wellbeing, supporting the strategy and embedding health and wellbeing into their business segment or function’s culture, action plans and processes.
- Lead a sizable regional and/or country shared services health team that includes specialists in occupational health, energy, wellbeing and disability. Provide guidance and support that enables all regulatory requirements to be met for each country ensuring full compliance.
- Adapt, if required, and deploy enterprise-wide health programs in the region. Develop additional regional H&W programs to identify and control regional work health risks, promote health, optimize performance/energy as needed.
- Develop and lead special, regional health communities (e.g. health promotion specialists, site health champion groups, etc.), providing proactive alignment, guidance and support.
- Evaluate programs and regularly report on process and outcomes measures against key targets, including leveraging of analytics and research partners.
- Monitor industry advances and good practices to ensure proactive program enhancement and innovation_._
- Leverage formal project management practices and tools, to accelerate execution and efficiently monitor and report project status, steps, metrics and timelines.
- Represent Mars, Inc. AHWB internally and externally with key stakeholders, industry groups and peer organizations, with a commitment to advance the company’s reputation in the areas of Associate engagement, culture of health and employer brand index.
- Ensure compliance with Mars, Inc. security, accessibility, business controls, communication, and other company standards and guidelines.
