**TITLE: Voice Recording Quality Engineer**

**DEPARTMENT: Product Engineering - Shared Services**

**LOCATION: Paris, France**

**Overview**

Senior member of a team that certifies interworking of IPC Voice Trading products with Voice Recording solutions of various IPC partners, provides support for Voice Recording issues in IPC labs, deploys and maintains IPC products in Voice Recording partners' labs.

This individual will have knowledge in installation and troubleshooting of server-based technologies, databases, and operating systems, as well as knowledge of telecommunications, networks and related security technologies.

This position reports to the Quality Engineering, France Manager.

**What You Will Do**:

- Certify interworking of IPC Voice Trading systems with Voice Recording solutions of various partners
- Act as Voice Recording expert within IPC
- Act as IPC Voice Trading engineering representative for IPC Voice Recording partners R&D

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and enhance Voice Recording QE lab, as per evolution of IPC and/or partners solutions
- Maintain and enhance Voice Recording test plans associated to each IPC partner
- Execute test plans whenever required by evolution of IPC/partner products and report test results
- Maintain compatibility matrix listing IPC system/VR system combinations supported
- Report issues encountered during test to proper R&D team and follow up progress of resolution
- Provide coaching and support to offshore QE VR team based in India
- Maintain continuous communication with IPC partners' R&D to keep abreast of the evolution of their solutions
- Act as alternate scrum master of VR team whenever required
- Act as a de facto tier-3 support engineer for every recording integration issue found in the field
- Document specific operational procedures related to Voice Recording integration in order to ease work of involved IPC operations staff

**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- 3-5 years experience in testing of telecom systems, preferably in an Agile framework
- Good understanding of VoIP protocols: SIP, RTP
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration
- Good knowledge of database installation and administration
- Good knowledge of VMware virtualization
- Basic knowledge of Linux
- Good knowledge of Voice Trading products, ideally Unigy
- Troubleshooting skills: collection and analysis of relevant debugging information in order to speed up resolution of issues
- Nice to have: test automation experience, performance testing
- Ability to work and communicate efficiently in multi-cultural environment
- Technical writing skills
- Fluent English, French desirable
- Reporting: capacity to provide clear and synthetic project status to upper management
- Autonomy: capacity to work with little supervision
- Leadership: capacity to take proper technical initiatives
- Customer focus
