Fluids & Water Treatment Station Manager

**Position description**:
Manage the team in charge of water production and recycling as well as treatment of industrial effluents. Operates the power generation facilities required for plant operation (boilers, compressors).

**Main responsibilities**:

- Manage the Fluid Service team in charge of the plant’s water cycle related facilities.
- Manage the team in charge of the operation of the power generation facilities.
- Ensures continuous technological monitoring for himself and his team, in collaboration with the Human Resources department, to manage and develop the skills necessary for innovation and performance.
- Hosts team meetings (T1) and participates in the daily site coordination meeting (T3).
- Manages the collection and production of fresh water for the site, supply and quality of water for paper manufacturing processes.
- Manages the treatment of industrial effluents and the operation of the sewage treatment plant. Monitors the purification yields.
- Manages the production of purifying bacteria, mother bateriotheks, microbiology lab operation and skills required for this process.
- Manages water recycling and re-introduction ratios based on machine needs and water conditions.
- Analyses the malfunctions of the tools under its responsibility and implements corrective actions.
- Optimizes the consumption of chemicals related to water treatment. Coordinates its investigations with the Purchasing Service.
- Manages the energy production required for plant operation (steam, compressed air)
- Proposes to its management improvement projects, savings topics, medium and long-term operating strategies for tools and personnel related to the water cycle. Draft the specifications for projects initiated by him.
- Establish the estimated budgets of OPEX and CAPEX related to its scope of responsibilities and propose them to its management. Respects allocated budgets.
- Adheres to Safety guidelines. Looks with team for opportunities to improve safety and performance.
- Ensures regulatory compliance of water discharges and water withdrawals. Participates in the operation of the ISO 14001 management system.

**Profile and qualifications**:

- Engineer degree in chemistry, biology, or technical degree in water treatment or biochemistry.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of legislation related to water discharges.
- Knowledge of thermic and fluid mechanics.
- Team management
- Flexible and adaptable, you can also show authority to your teams when necessary.
- French mother tongue with good practice of English (professional and technical) for effective communication in an international environment.
