**Resort Manager at Dormio Resort Berck-Sur-Mer**

Dormio is a successful developer of recreational real estate and has formed the basis of many holiday resorts in the Netherlands and Europe. In addition to being a developer Dormio has also been an operator and hotelier of holiday resorts since 2011. We currently have 12 luxury holiday resorts and hotels in the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, France and Spain. You will be working for one of these resorts in France, namely Dormio Resort Berck sur Mer.

**The resort**
Dormio Resort Berck-Sur-Mer is a luxury beach resort located at the beautiful Opal Coast in northern of France. The beach and the pleasant boulevard are only 900 meters away which gives you the ultimate French beach feeling. Currently, the resort consists of 72 semidetached and detached houses for 4 to 10 persons. All houses are equipped with modern conveniences in a Mediterranean character. This upcoming year, the resort will extent with 30 beautiful modern accommodations And not only the houses but the facilities will extent as well The swimming pool, the mini market (where you can buy freshly baked bread and the most important groceries), and the restaurant with terrace begin to take its first shapes More information and pictures can be found on our website.

**Your function**
As the Resort Manager of Dormio Resort Berck-Sur-Mer you are responsible for all the departments within the resort. You need to ensure the quality of our services and coordinate the employees. Next to that, you also have a good financial insight which includes determining budgets, controlling and pursuing these budgets. Furthermore, you will be working under the direction of the Operations Director with whom you will discuss the performance of the resort on a weekly basis.

Your day-to-day activities include, but are not limited to:

- Recruitment of permanent and seasonal staff.
- Running coaching sessions and providing performance assessments.
- Leading and inspiring a team of department heads in overall performance, for example: customer relations, reception, finance, reporting, maintenance and daily operation.
- Daily monitoring of the resort in operational terms.
- Making a weekly report of relevant management information regarding sales, performance, quality issues, etc.
- Negotiate with local vendors concerning all aspects of the resort and maintain these relationships.
- Increasing service level standards to ensure the highest possible customer satisfaction.
- Identifying challenges and proposing solutions for example: the reservation platform used by Dormio, the website, contracts with vendors and other partners.
- In consultation with the management of Dormio in Arnhem, initiating and monitoring actions, promotions and other marketing activities on the local and regional markets to increase revenues.
- Monitoring of booking
- and front office staff regarding new bookings and existing reservations, to ensure the highest possible customer satisfaction.
