**1.DESCRIPTION OF ROLE**
- SCM Manager Projects is responsible and accountable for managing the delivery of the designated SCM process in the AMEC Region
- Accountable for ensuring that the Supply Chain function is planned, resourced and managed in an optimum way to effectively and efficiently support executing of work.
- SCM Manager Projects will take charge of managing the Post Award supply chain process for complex, high value commodities for example Linepipe, Umbilicals, Flexibles, Valves, Complex Fabrication, Precommissioning, and high value Vessel Charters and pre and post award of medium and low complex commodities and services.

- Projects is accountable for coordination and optimisation of SCM activities across the region. He will also take the lead liaising with Categories Commodities and Tender SCM Manager (CCT), Chartering Manager and Process and Systems Manager at AMEC level and ensure close collaboration where applicable.
- SCM Managers for Africa, Middle East and Caspian will report functionally to the SCM Manager
- Projects.
- Develop and implement the Project Supply Chain Management (SCM) strategy for the Project collating the input from key Project team members and in accordance with AMEC SCM policy.
- Is responsible to the Project Manager for the success of the SCM activities and deliverables in accordance with agreed schedules, milestones and cost, with focus on meeting the Project’s overall schedule and profitability

**2.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure SCM personnel assigned to the Project are aware and work to approved procedures, AMEC RACI matrix and in accordance with Subsea7 Business Conduct Policy.
- Contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices.
- Provide leadership in code of Ethics and compliance with FCPA and bribery and corruption acts.
- Contribute to creating a culture of ethics and integrity within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to our Code of Conduct.
- Manage the relationships with internal customers with respect to expectations, execution and control of SCM activities
- Promote maintenance and compliance of Supply Chain Management standards throughout all the Countries operations
- Facilitate and co-ordinate SCM process improvements within the Country utilising specialists from within the appropriate functions.
- Manage directly all supply chain resources in-country and provide resources where necessary directly to project teams
- Agree and monitor performance objectives with direct reports and identify areas for performance improvement and any adjustment to organisation, tools and people as necessary
- Ensure clearly understood roles, responsibilities and performance objectives, regular feedback and continuing professional training

- Operate within the Business Code of Conduct
- Operate according to Subsea 7's Management Principles
- Support and lead on standards and procedures for the Supply Chain Function

**5.CAPABILITY PROFILE - KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND BEHAVIOURS**
- Minimum 15 yrs experience on EPCI projects, in the areas of both SURF (Subsea, Umbilicals, Risers & Flowlines) and Conventional offshore projects.
- Degree background or higher in Engineering, Business Studies, Project Management or Law (or qualified by experience)
- Understanding of the statutory, legal and strategic policy framework in relation to Supply Chain Management and Financial Management.
- Knowledge of tools and methods of supplier selection for complex and high value contracts
- Technical knowledge of the offshore oil and gas engineering industry to inform the management of the Supply Ch
