**Skills, knowledge, experience required**:

- A level of education that corresponds to completed university studies of at least 3 years attested by a diploma;
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant professional experience, of which minimum 3 years’ experience in security;
- Experience in at least one building security project with similar security expertise;
- Understanding of construction management processes;
- Previous experience in management of a security works program and the ability to support the implementation of the security works;
- Knowledge on:

- Implementing good practices in physical security as well as in security systems implementation;
- Managing access control systems, video surveillance systems and other security and/or safety systems;
- Performing security and safety risk assessments for the site or special events;
- Capability of:

- Handling access requests for the site and communicating with the stakeholders;
- Identifying specific vulnerabilities and threats regarding the security and safety of the site and assets;
- Knowledge and capability of performing first response in case of an emergency;
- Ability to:

- Run reports and handle special security
- and safety-related projects, actions or activities;
- Perform management and administration of security guards and reception services;
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, loyalty, confidentiality and professionalism, including following the Line Management instructions;
- Work in a team;
- Excellent usage of MS Office, in particular MS Excel;
- Proven ability to work in a multicultural team including third parties;
- Previous working experience in an international environment (international organisation type) or an EU Institution;
- Ability to understand, speak, and write in English (level C1 or higher);
- Good level of French language (level B2 or higher).

**Duties/role**:

- Providing support in management and overseeing the day-to-day construction progress of the project on site on behalf of the eu-LISA;
- Preparing and supervising all the needed documents properly throughout the project lifecycle until the closeout;
- Monitoring construction productivity and schedule performance, and investigating reasons for a less-than-satisfactory performance;
- Providing recommendations and instituting measures for improvement by modifications to operating work instructions;
- Adhering to national safety standards and promoting safety culture at work;
- Managing risks related to the site or any kind of defects that lead to delivery;
- Supporting management and administration of the physical security contracts and financial processes;
- Supporting coordination to capture the most cost-effective plans along with supporting the implementation of this plan’s execution afterwards;
- Supporting definition of strategies and policies and the implementation thereof;
- Monitoring and reporting project details to the eu-LISA in a timely manner, including progress, risks, and opportunities;
- Handling and reviewing site access accreditation requests;
- Supporting the draft of tender specifications (designing, assessing, and supporting administratively the implementation of physical security systems);
- Overseeing and supporting the security works reception and systems delivery acceptance;
- Providing support during security incident analysis or risk assessments;
- Providing administrative support for guard force operating procedures and instructions;
- Supporting the coordination and administration of the security systems emergency response capability;
- Preparing documents such as reports, notes, letters, presentations, etc.;
- Coordinating the flow of work in liaison with staff members from Security Unit and/or other eu-LISA Departments and Units;
- Maintaining a high level of accuracy, loyalty, confidentiality and professionalism, including following the Line Management instructions;
- Running reports and handling special security
- and safety-related projects, actions or activities as assigned;
- Providing deliverables in both English and French;
- Performing any other security
- and safety-related tasks as required by the eu-LISA Security Unit.
