Join Our Team as a Project Buyer - Business Unit Specialist
Are you passionate about making a real impact on projects and contributing to their success? We're looking for a talented Project Buyer to join our team and take the lead in ensuring the seamless acquisition of goods and services for our dedicated Business Unit.
The position is open in Clermont-Ferrand or in Mantes-la-Jolie site.
Strategic Sourcing: Explore new horizons, identify top-notch suppliers, and develop winning partnerships aligned with our Business Unit's goals and with the Global Commodity Director guidelines when commodities are not covered by a global commodity strategy. Provide and consolidate information for market understanding of the specific Business Unit.
Supplier Relationships: Participate to road map definition for the strategic suppliers. Nurture strong connections with our partners, ensuring collaboration and innovation thrive.
Procurement Execution: Transform project needs into reality by navigating procurement processes with finesse, generating purchase orders, and ensuring timely deliveries. Identify and mitigate potential risks related to procurement, supplier relationships, and project execution.
Cost and Performance Management: Keep a watchful eye on project costs purchasing KPI of the related projects, champion cost-saving initiatives, and collaborate with finance to keep budgets in check.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, with a focus on project-based purchasing.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices.
- ️ Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
