**Position Summary**

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful research team and to help define and drive solutions for clients and patients As an intern you will have the opportunity to learn about the role HEOR **Modeling & Simulation **plays in helping the company assess benefits, risks, and the economic consequences associated with healthcare interventions.

The internship is a **6-month position **to provide support for **one main project** with the addition of a few other multiple projects (including ‘live’ projects) under supervision, with tasks varying to degree by project and participate in targeted self-improvement projects.

**The Team**

Our Modeling and Simulation experts design and implement health economic models that describe both simple and complex medical processes to understand and evaluate the market access implications of clinical trials; demonstrate the value of interventions beyond efficacy, assess benefits, risks, and the economic consequences associated with healthcare interventions. If you have a passion for health economic modeling and are interested in conducting cost-effectiveness analyses of healthcare interventions and have experience conceptualizing and implementing decision-analytic models (e.g., decision trees, Markov, individual state-transition, survival partition), an internship position in Modeling and Simulation at Evidera is waiting for you

**Responsibilities include**:

- Assisting team members with designated tasks that drive the overall objectives of the function
- Review of literature, extraction, implementation, programming in Excel, preparation of slides, analysis
- Participating in departmental and/or organization wide special projects aimed to achieving annual priorities
- Attending and participating in meetings and conference calls
- Participating in training sessions relevant to your designated functional area
- Other ad-hoc tasks under the direction of the Evidera supervisor

**Education and Experience**:

- Must be enrolled or completed an MSc program
- Educational background and experience in Economics, PharmD, MD and other degrees related to quantitative analysis.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and strong attention to detail, with proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
- Excellent English and grammar skills
- High level of proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
