Overview
- Transform material through manufacturing processes to complete a quality product that meets the needs of our customers.**Responsibilities**:
- Assembles, tests, and completes a variety of equipment, from basic to complex equipment in the assembly area,
- Creates setups and performs a variety of manufacturing operations, working from blueprints, sketches, specifications, and oral instructions,
- Performs grinding, assembly, and testing operations in accordance with Engineering documentation,
- Makes skillful use of all standard hand tools and measuring tools,
- Makes necessary shop mathematic computations,
- Occasionally interacts with customer to show basic operation of equipment as required by Quality and Engineering departments,
- Fills out all quality documentation requirements to include PQP documentation;
- Ensures safe work environment and reports any safety hazards to manager,
- Submits completed Hazard ID,
- Participates in Pure Safety training,
- Maintains a clean and orderly shop.
Experience
- High School diploma,
- 3-5 years of experience in a mechanical field,
- Ability to read blueprints and have knowledge on paint and assembly operations,
- Ability to lift required, to be performed in compliance with TDW’s safety program regulations,
- Ability to drive a tow motor to provide support to the assembly area,
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
