**Job Title: Appliance Repair Technician**
**Duties and responsibilities**
- Repair already installed appliances (washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, electric and gas cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer).
- Install and replace these same appliances in case of exchange (electrical and water connections if necessary)
- Make-ready (= rotation apt / Diplomat), he must carry out all checks so that these devices work correctly for the next Diplomat.
**Skills and Abilities**
Technicians must have their own hand tools. Technicians must be rated OHQ B1 for this service. The minimum qualification required is a vocational diploma "CAP Electro technique" with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
The technician shall be familiar with the safe working procedures of their particular trade and shall ensure, continually:
- His own safety;
- The safety of his working colleagues;
- The safety of those around them.
- The technician shall be required to work either independently or as part of a multi-trades team.
**Location**: Although based at 2 Avenue Gabriel, 75008 Paris, the work to be carried out will be at various locations in and around Paris primarily in the Neuilly sur Seine and Boulogne-Billancourt compounds.
**Schedule**: The working hours shall be 35 per week [09:00am to 12:00pm and 13:00pm to 17:00pm Monday to Friday] excluding American and French holidays.
The Embassy shall provide relevant power tools to the technician who shall be responsible for their correct and safe utilization, ,safe keeping and return to the U.S. Government at the end of the employment period. The technician shall be equipped with safety shoes as well as his portable equipment (electric controller, cutting pliers, screwdriver ).

Pay: From 25.00€ per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
