Role description:
- Analyze macro-economic indicators & trends to guide & help to define the Sector strategy (PESTEL)
- Pro-actively study current & target markets, clients & competitors to identify early signs of opportunities and threats for 3DS
- Identify key players to be considered for Partner / Buys decisions
- Update the manufacturing sector strategy referential to put the sector priorities into perspective.
- Support in preparing investors communications
- Communication with software analysts (Gartner, IDC,)
- Develop the skills of the person in the team responsible for the market model on the two previous points
Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Finance, Business, Engineering or related degree
Strong experience requirement in industries of the manufacturing Sector (Transportation & Mobility, Aerospace & Defense, Industrial Equipment, High-Tech, Home & Lifestyle, Consumer Package Goods & Retail), depending on the position occupied: Experience in a Sectoral Market Analysis companies such as XERFI or experience as a strategy analyst in a corporate set-up, as a consultant or M&A analyst in consulting firms.
