Maison Alaïa is looking for a:
**_ESG and social compliance Coordinator_**
- Responsibilities:
- Help monitor and coordinate internal activities related to the Maison’s ESG strategy
- Supporting the social, environmental and chemical compliance program and roadmap across supplier matrix to strengthen responsible sourcing activities for RTW and accessories
- Supporting liaisons with Richemont group team to assure adherence to group’s policies and practices
- Supporting all activities related to SEDEX platform for supply chain assessment
- Assisting the planning and monitoring of auditing activities in coordination with audit firms, including initiation and completion of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) in collaboration with suppliers
- Support practices for adherence to international standards for chemical compliance of all raw materials utilised in line with international protocols and Group’s directives
- Help establish good relationships with manufacturers and suppliers to support their compliance with international and national requirements in line with Group’s guidelines
- Monitoring claims against certification standards to ensure claims are correctly verified
- Assisting in the production of relevant sustainability documentation including disclosure documents and supplier engagement documentation
- Profile:
- At least 2 years' experience in ESG practices with a focus on supply chain management and/or social and environmental compliance
- Familiarity with auditing frameworks, and ethical sourcing standards (e.g. SEDEX and SMETA, SA800, BSCI)
- Familiarity with chemical compliance protocol management (e.g. EU REACH, PRSL, GB 18401)
**Skills**:
- Fluency in written and spoken Italian and English is required. Good knowledge of French is an asset
- A strategic and creative thinker with great analytical skills
- Able to work autonomously, and muti-task in an agile environment
- Highly collaborative and strong relationship builder
