As part of the R&D team and reporting directly to the Chief Technical Officer (CTO), you will be responsible for defining the prototypes and characteristics of the Na-ion technology developed for the production of new battery cells. In this context, you will study the electrochemical parameters and mechanisms responsible for optimal cell performance, as well as the chemical and electrochemical characterization of new Na-ion cell components and designs. Youll be part of a young, dynamic team, working closely with innovative research laboratories, and youll gain unique experience in high value-added research and development. You will contribute to strengthening the companys intellectual property and know-how. Your main responsibilities will be to: Integrate, implement, and innovate R&D projects and optimize the properties of the different generations of proprietary Na-ion cells in line with the state of the art and the technology watch. Your main activities will be to: - Develop cell design, electrode formulation and slurry formulation - Optimize electrolytes and evaluate components - Communicate the companys research results and advances - Communicate and collaborate with the development team and international academic and industrial partners on various projects. - Work on European-scale projects and take part in international projects. - Promote the companys patent portfolio. Responsibilities and scope for action
- The engineer will have access to a state of the art 18650 cylindrical cells pilot line that allows to validate R&D concepts on a standard format and will have the opportunity to produce cells with the support of our technicians.
