A PhD position devoted to stealth carbohydrates is available in October 2023 as a part of the EUR-CBS collaborative project “**TROJAN**” coordinated by Dr. Sami Halila and Dr. Y. Caspar in Grenoble (France). This research project combines expertise and skills of Research Centre on Glycosciences (CERMAV Lab - UPR5301- CNRS/Univ. Grenoble Alpes) in Glycochemistry with Dr. S. Halila and in Glycobiology with Dr. A. Imberty and Institute of Structural Biology IBS Lab - UMR5075- CEA/CNRS/Univ. Grenoble Alpes) in bacterial pathogenesis and development of new antimicrobial agents with a team composed of Y. Caspar, E. Faudry and S. Elsen.
- This PhD position is supported by the French National Research Agency in the framework of the "Investissements d’avenir” program (_ANR-17-EURE-0003_) and can start in October 2023._

In addition, the unit provides an important contribution to the research training to prepare students and young researchers to the professional world, industry, and academia.

The **IBS **laboratory aims to develop research in integrated structural biology to address questions in basic and applied science. Nineteen IBS groups perform multidisciplinary research in structural and functional biology at the interface of physics and chemistry within three main research programs (Assembly, dynamics and reactivity - Membrane proteins and glycobiology - Microbiology, infection and immunity).
