**The main required skills common to MOST internship positions are the following (but not exclusively)**:

- Excellent programming skills in C++ and/or in Python
- Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
- Prior experience in projects involving at least one of the following domains:

- Algorithmic design, e.g. 3d vision, machine learning, numerical optimization, etc
- Software development, e.g. implementation, architecture, optimization, testing, porting on embedded platforms, etc
- Development operations, e.g. source code versioning, continuous integration & deployment, cloud computing, system administration, etc

**R&D**:
**Event-based camera calibration**:
Several methods have been proposed over the years to calibrate the intrinsics parameters of an event-based camera, for instance using blinking chessboard patterns, reconstructing grayscale images and using conventional calibration pipeline, etc. The latter approach relies on a Deep Learning model to convert events into grayscale images and was claimed in the literature to lead to more accurate results, but on the downside involves a more complex processing pipeline.

**The goal of this internship is to evaluate the different calibration methods proposed in the literature and implement a ready-to-use calibration tool and integrate it in Prophesee's SDK.**
