Your main tasks:
Contribute and cooperate within the global Legal & Compliance Team of Daimler Truck Group. Proactively participate in exchanges and global working groups of Daimler Truck Group with the aim to continuously develop best in class Legal & Compliance processes

LEGAL

Provision of legal advice to the local management, if required in coordination with an external Law firm. This includes:

- Ensure a comprehensive legal support
- Draft and approval of standard and non-standard legal documents (e.g. contracts, transactions, legal letters)
- Management and coordination of Corporate Affairs
- Management and follow up of Court Cases and other disputes
- Observing trends in local legislation

COMPLIANCE

Coordinate the implementation and maintenance of an effective Compliance Management System and support the local management for all relevant areas as described in the following in accordance with DaimlerTruck Group compliance requirements as well as local laws and regulations at a local unit level. This includes:

- Perform and coordinate the Compliance Risk Assessment (in collaboration with the unit’s risk owner) and Monitoring Process
- Implementation and maintenance of clear compliance standards as well as applicable compliance processes consistent with the Daimler Truck Group compliance program as well as the Daimler Truck Code of Conduct alongside nine Compliance Fields: Anti-Corruption, Antitrust, Anti-Money Laundering, Sanction Compliance, Data Compliance, Human Rights, Export Control, Dangerous goods and Product Compliance
- Continuously raising awareness by
- Ensuring effective communication to both internal stakeholders and external business partners on relevant compliance topics
- Delivering risk-oriented face-to-face/virtual training sessions in units
- Provide feedback regarding compliance effectiveness at unit level for the Annual Effectiveness Evaluation to the headquarter
- Observing trends in local legislations and potential market related compliance risks regarding all relevant compliance fields incl. defining local measures to mitigate potential risks
- Obtaining support and collaboration for compliance matters from management and all employees and ensure effective unit governance structures and procedures for compliance oversight and management, including defined accountability for compliance responsibilities
- Participation at the internal TL Compliance Qualification Program

Your profile:
**Education**:

- Advanced degree in law, business administration or similar
- Appropriate knowledge in Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit or similar
- Professional qualification in corporate compliance, legal affairs and/or corporate audit is an advantage

**Experience**:

- Strong Leadership experience and experience in working in international and intercultural teams and the ability to reveal ongoing efficiency and effectiveness with the team
- Approx. 5 years business experience, sufficient stature within the organization to exert influence and credibility
- Demonstrates detailed knowledge of Code of Conduct and other relevant internal policies, legal and compliance guidelines
- Familiarity with corporate business practices
- Comprehensive experience of compliance, legal affairs, corporate audit, change management, applied business ethics, culture change and communication
- Experience in compliance/legal (related) function, counseling of internationally operating enterprises
- Experience in (international) sales, procurement, business development or network development or similar complex models is of advantage
