Cloud technology offers new innovative alternatives for Radio Access Network (RAN) deployments. In Cloud RAN, we own the acceleration and creation of a cloud-native RAN, an innovative product offering flexibility in architecting, scaling, and deploying telecom networks. The Cloud RAN product development organization contains total life-cycle capability from architecture definition to deployment in customer networks and capability to contribute to open-source communities.

Our team is developing the management, orchestration and automation of Cloud RAN that encompasses physical network functions (PNF), virtual network functions (VNF), cloud native network functions (CNF) and the services across Cloud RAN, transport, 5G Core and underlying cloud infrastructure. Under this context, Cloud RAN management is not just about managing hybrid network functions in RAN, but also about bringing cloud native principles, programmable networks and model driven management and orchestration systems. This brings key values needed in 5G networks such as automation, flexibility, faster time to market, managing complex networks, and better customer experience.

You will face new techniques and methods, like cloud-native, microservices and Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, at the same time as the system architecture and the solutions are being developed. You will work in a fast-paced environment with our multi-disciplined development teams to deliver use cases to our customers.

At the same time, we are growing our Paris R&D and Innovation hub, focusing on the newest technologies for AI automation, Security, 5G and 6G. In the Massy hub, we work with a wide function focus, from research, architecture, and system management to product development.

We are now looking for a creative and upbeat Solution Architect to join our Network Automation group in the Paris R&D and Innovation hub.

**You will**:
As a solution architect you are one of the key enablers for our software development teams; you will take technical responsibility for the architecture and roadmap of a product stream and work closely with your colleagues to build industry leading Cloud RAN automation products.
- Support one impactful team by development of a product architecture and roadmap
- Align this architecture and roadmap with product managers and other architects both in Network Automation and other Cloud RAN programs.
- Represent - through daily actions - our values and behaviors, building on our strong culture of trust, teamwork, and autonomy.

**To be successful in the role you must have**:

- A degree or post graduate qualification in computer science
- A deep understanding of cloud-native architectures including design, implementation and testing
- Software development practice in a software development group, including experience of product architecture
- Experience on driving technical discussions, analyzing & explain technical requirements and problems
- Demonstrated ability in one or more of the following areas: Radio / OSS / Cloud / Software engineering practices / technology evaluations
- Experience or genuine interest in Machine Learning models and frameworks.
- Proficiency in English, written and spoken.
