The Bobigny site, headquarters and Research and Development center of the Visibility Systems Pole (VIS), develops high-performance and innovative lighting systems that support the driver and passengers in all weather conditions, day and night, and in their various activities on board the vehicle.
Our Prototypes Department Engineering Division is looking for a **Research and Innovation Prototypes Engineer M/F.**
**Our challenges**:
- Gathering the needs of project teams and customer requirements and answering technical questions
- Defining production schedules and ensuring that they are adhered to, in agreement with the project managers. Define the production budget and model design
- Provide technical expertise to customers and project teams
- Ensure the feasibility of the prototype and support the project objectives
- Lead CAD model integration studies for prototypes and demonstration cars
- Be responsible for integration planning according to QCD
- Have functional responsibility for the CAD designers dedicated to these studies
- Monitor the development of the model design and ensure that the right technical solution is chosen
- Organise technical reviews and provide project documentation (technical and organisational)
- Act as technical expert for prototyping activities
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the Prototypes department
- Passing on knowledge and expertise in the Prototype and CAD professions Providing technical support to team members and apprentices.
- Contribute to the development of a supplier network and establish an efficiency plan (QCD).
**What about you**:
With a 5-year degree (Engineer, Master) in Electronics, Mechanical or General Engineering, you have at least 5 years' professional experience and have worked in a product design environment within a Design Office.
Knowledge of CATIA software and issues relating to prototypes are additional assets.
Your English is fluent, enabling you to communicate with your contacts both orally and in writing.
