**Solution Architect Engineer (SAE) - Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France (Permanent Role)**

**Job Description -**

**Responsibilities**

In the supervision of the Global Power Manager, the person filling this role will be responsible to support technically our Power Solution relative to our Power Initiatives.

The Solution Architect Engineer Technical Expert Power Solutions will have the direct responsibility of supporting our Power Solution architecture and to cooperate on quotation and on customer sales demonstration. He will have to support technically, to collaborate and to deliver the operation to deliver the Power solution in collaboration with our Delivery Power Solution Experts and with all our Delivery Team.

**The scope of responsibilities is**:

- Support the Technical aspect of our Power Solution architecture
- Support the design the most efficient Power Solution architecture
- Support and interact with our 3rd party ecosystem suppliers
- Collaborate with the Project Delivery Team and the Delivery Power Solution Experts
- Broaden the scope of the technical solutions
- Interact effectively with Glass/HT/SemiCon/CPG End Users and OEMs
- Be accountable for the technical deployment and installation of the Power Solution architecture
- Be an active member of the Global Power Team and the Electrification of the Industry Initiative
- Anticipate and pioneer new technology for Power Automation: i.e. Industry 4.0, Digitization, Electrification of the Industries and EGlass trends.
- Understand industry requirements and constraints to help drive Client portfolio marketing and development of the existing and future range of product/solution.
- Support the technical development of the Power Digital Engineered Solutions.
- Work as an effective member of the Power Team.
- Identify and feedback competitor positions.

**Experience**

More than 5 year’s experience of successful technical power solution support are required, with a willing perspective to acquire commercial, business and sales skills.

This role is responsible for the Power solution support, so you will be required to demonstrate technical background and good communication experience.

In this role, you will be required to demonstrate the ability to communicate, present and influence credibly on all the Power solution, including to the Glass, HT, Semicon and CPG community influencers and to key technical customer contacts.

**Skills**
- Demonstrated team player attitude, foster communication, enthusiast, and positive behaviour
- Must be able to effectively communicate in the English language, second language would be a plus.
- Technical competence and familiarity with personal computers and software.
- Strong organisational, collaboration, verbal, and written communication skills.

**Knowledge**
- Must have a broad technical knowledge of Power Control and ideally Process Control products and solutions.
- Must have a deep technical knowledge of Electrical distribution principal
- Must have a deep technical knowledge of all Electrical Heater technologies
- Must have a deep technical knowledge on electrical transformer technology
- Must have a deep knowledge on Energy and all electrical parameters measurement and associated calculation
- Should have the customer first spirit and associated value-added Services behaviour, Digital solution, SaaS, and SLA, including consultancy and cybersecurity perspectives.
- Good understanding of the Power Control Turnkey projects and Project management.
- Understanding of value creation for clients

**Requirements**:

- Requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with at least 5 years of experience in Engineering / Product support / Solution support / Technical Sales role.
- Technical and solution note bulletin writer acumen.
- Technology savvy to be able to design Automation Architecture and Electrical distribution schematic and communication network
- Strong team player, ability to work successfully with multicultural teams in an international and multi-site environment.
- Display a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
- Location of the role is preferably in Europe.
- Must be willing and be able to travel internationally frequently and as required.

**Salary**: 40,000.00€ - 60,000.00€ per year
