Content Production Coordinator

The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) is a volunteer-led, not-for-profit, medical society. It is an independent, non-governmental organisation.
The ESC is a source of high quality, evidence-based science that pushes the boundaries of cardiovascular medicine. Our members and decision-makers are healthcare professionals who give their time and expertise freely, while continuing their daily, high-paced clinical and/or research work. ESC volunteers are world-renowned experts; their opinions are routinely sought and their papers regularly published and referenced.

The ESC coordinates observational registries, creates clinical practice guidelines, and organises and endorses educational programmes. We disseminate robust and independent science through our congresses, journals and educational digital tools. We’re the voice of the cardiology community when advocating for heart-health policies, regulations and funding.

All of these things enable us to identify cardiovascular trends, address inequalities, share best practices to improve standards of care for patients

The ESC employs +220 staff, based in Nice and Brussels, who support ESC volunteers in the development and management of these activities.

The ESC is currently looking for a **content production coordinator (external communication) **for a permanent contract, CDI, as soon as possible to work at its headquarters in Sophia Antipolis, France.

**Major duties and responsibilities**:oversees the planning, production and creation of content for dissemination across all communication channels:

- Oversee the development of content for specific communications projects and campaigns to ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment with strategic objectives:

- Determine the project requirements and each stage of the content development process.
- Planning, production and review, for online, offline and digital communications projects in both creative and written content.
- Ensure all content projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per the requirements and strategies in collaboration with the brand team.
- Monitor content production process and report on the status of all communications projects to ensure quality, accuracy and delivery:

- Develop workflows and implement tools for project schedules and production and to delegate tasks within the content team.
- Coordinate the collection of visuals, text, videos, translations. Integrate content into websites and ensure style checking and editing is carried out by copywriters.
- Provide regular updates to the brand and channel team, and track project and content development goals.
- In collaboration with the brand, design and production manager, ensure planning and delivery is executed.
- Recommend solutions to improve content quality, accuracy and delivery. Anticipate potential project blockers and risks and propose solutions.
- Creation of visual content, that can be used across any communication channel to create engaging narratives that resonate with all target audiences

**Profile**:

- Hard skills:_
- High degree or equivalent in Communications, digital content creation, media, journalism
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in content specialist, design, communications coordinator role
- Experience in the healthcare sector would be appreciated
- Manage multiple and competing priorities with weekly deadlines to meet
- Fluency in English and French; excellent written English communication skills
- Webpage design optimisation, sizing of photos and imagery, placement of text
- Photoshop, CMS, SF Marketing Cloud, Trello, Microsoft smartsheets
