Johnson & Johnson Enterprise Supply Chain is recruiting for a **Manager Data **Governance **supporting the **Site and Supply Chain Services **team (S&SCS) within **Enterprise Technical Operations & Risk **organization (TO&R), to be located in **France **, **Italy, Belgium, Ireland **or **New Jersey **.
The position is for a Product Manager who will support the Common Data Layer (CDL) and the Supply Chain Data Repository hosted in Azure Data Lake. The CDL brings data from over 200 Supply Chain Systems and is used by 100+ Azure-based Data & Analytics solutions, with 1,500+ data engineers and business analysts accessing its data. The CDL is the most meaningful component for digitalization in J&J Supply Chain while adhering to compliance and privacy requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**
As part of the CDL, we are looking for a strong leader that can drive digitalization while ensuring compliance and privacy based on validated knowledge and experience in the field of Data Engineering and Data Governance. The Product Manager will be responsible for data governance, protecting the company from data breaches and reducing risks for the business. They will lead the implementation of data governance policies, working closely with the J&J Technology team. Training and synchronization with existing processes will be a priority, aiming to reduce lead times in the data factory while maintaining security measures and communication with requesters.
In addition, the Product Manager will drive consistency in the documentation of Digital Consuming Assets, ensuring compliance with manufacturing practices and regulations. They will provide standards and documentation practices, including templates for Data Flow Maps, Data Architectures, Data Requirements, Business Continuity Plans, etc. Collaboration with the Technology Quality team will be necessary to maintain consistency in documentation.
**Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Management, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience. A Master’s degree in Business Administration is a plus.
At least one professional certifications in Data Governance such as Data Governance and Stewardship Professional (DGSP), CompTIA Data+, Udacity Data Analyst Nanodegree, Master Data Management.
**Experience and skills**:
- Proven experience managing a digital platform in a large corporation
- Regulatory knowledge. Data management policies and strategies must comply with security regulations, privacy laws, and industry-specific standards
- Fluent knowledge of English language
- Technical abilities. Robust understanding of SQL, python, cloud platforms, enterprise data management tools, and big data technologies in order to design and implement effective data governance strategies
- Communication. Teamwork, partnership, conflict resolution, and relationship facilitation skills
- Data stewardship. Supervise the entire data life cycle, ensuring that data is accessible, usable, consistent, and secure
- Problem-solving. Use innovative ways to solve errors, inconsistencies, or technical glitches
- Attention to details
