ITER is a unique, first of a kind project that aims to demonstrate the technical and scientific feasibility of fusion energy. Jacobs one of three partners making up the Consortium MOMENTUM (construction management-as-agent contractor) is project managing the construction and assembly of more than one million components in world’s largest fusion reactor. As construction management-as-agent contractor, MOMENTUM is managing the construction and assembly of the first full-scale test reactor to include balance of plant and the Tokomak itself. Jacobs is recruiting a junior **Site Coordinator (with at least 3 years of experience) **to work on the ITER Project near Aix-en-Provence, France.

He/She will be responsible for:

- Field Coordination of IO construction teams and management of coactivity for F4E / ENGAGE construction Teams.
- Maintain construction productivity and optimize schedule through constant dialogue with contractors, CMA construction teams and F4E/ENGAGE stakeholders.
- Field Coordination of IO construction teams and management of coactivity for F4E / ENGAGE construction Teams.
- Maintain construction productivity and optimize schedule through constant dialogue with contractors, CMA construction teams and F4E/ENGAGE stakeholders.
- Significant site interface with construction teams daily, anticipating issues and managing conflict scenarios to mutually benefit the construction program.
- Participation in platform briefs and to act as liaison between these activities and the CMA organization.
- Effective coordination with the Works Contractors, worksite supervision and project controls groups, ensuring unnecessary delays are anticipated and effectively mitigated and additional costs are not incurred.
