Position Duties
Nous recherchons un senior ou lead level designer pour la création de notre futur jeu d'aventure en Top Down. Le jeu a une composante multi-joueurs et se situe dans une ambiance médiévale fantastique.
L'objectif consiste à travailler en collaboration avec la direction créative et l'équipe artistique pour créer un environnement captivant du point de vue du level design (navigation, apprentissage, découvertes, etc.). Votre travail comprendra une partie conception puis intégration (blocking, level art, rythme, spawning d'ennemis, etc.) et tests / améliorations. Vous serez également amené à diriger et conseiller 2 level designers juniors.
Pour ce poste, voici les compétences requises:
- Expérience de 5 ans minimum en tant que level designer
- Au moins 1 jeu shippé
- Une première expérience sur Unreal 4 ou 5
- Être dynamique, pro-actif, ouvert d'esprit, soucieux du détail
- Être capable de diriger de manière claire et bienveillante
- Avoir une bonne communication écrite et orale et apprécier le travail en équipe avec les autres corps de métier
- Niveau d'anglais pro
Compétences appréciées:
- Avoir 1 ou plusieurs expériences de jeux AA/AAA shippés avec Unreal
- Avoir une bonne maîtrise du développement via Blueprint
- Avoir déjà encadré une équipe de level designers
- Avoir déjà travaillé sur un jeu multi-joueurs et/ou top down
- Être curieux et s'intéresser aux innovations liés à la production de jeux vidéo
- Avoir une bonne culture générale et notamment vidéoludique
- Avoir d'autres cordes à votre arc que le level design (par exemple dans un des domaines suivants : art, prog, GD, UI/UX, etc.)

Lieu : le studio se trouve à Caen (14) mais le télétravail est possible, un jour de présentiel par semaine est obligatoire : les lundis. Nous organisons également tous les 2 mois environ une présence sur 2 ou 3 jours à Caen (team building). Les déplacements et l'hébergement sont pris en charge par l'entreprise. Une volonté de déménager à Caen ainsi qu'une venue 2 jours par semaine au studio seront toutefois appréciés.
