The ILS Intern at SCOR will be involved in a wide range of technical and academic activities, focusing on key themes relevant to our operations. These may include in-depth studies on important topics such as inflation, climate change, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance). Additionally, the intern may engage in technical tasks such as modeling natural disaster risks, assisting in the development of portfolio management tools, and contributing to the construction of reporting tools for our activities.
- Conduct in-depth studies on key themes such as inflation, climate change, and ESG.
- Assist in modeling natural disaster risks to support risk management efforts.
- Contribute to the development of portfolio management tools to optimize performance.
- Aid in the construction of reporting tools to provide insights into our activities.
- Conduct research and database construction to gather relevant information useful for our operations.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects and initiatives.
- Currently enrolled in a relevant academic program (e.g., Finance, Risk Management, Environmental Studies).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to conduct in-depth research.
- Proficiency in data analysis and modeling tools (e.g., Excel, Python, R) is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Interest in the insurance/reinsurance industry and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
