In order to support our development, Applied Materials is recruiting its future Field Service Engineer in PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) on a permanent contract.
Within our Service department, you take care of the maintenance of our equipment installed on our client's site (ST Microelectronics Crolles) to ensure technical support of our machine park.
Within your team, you will be responsible for addressing any complex corrective maintenance reported by the customer. You work on various last-generation tools.
**Your main missions:
- You ensure the technical execution of complex corrective maintenance on Applied Materials equipment in the clean room on our customer site.
- You take charge of technical diagnostics and resolution of equipment failures in total autonomy.
- You write detailed intervention reports for the customer.
- You work closely to the customer, running daily meetings to define priorities.
- You work on projects to increase the industrial performance of our equipment and to develop our technical expertise.
- You control maintenance cost.
- You adhere to the company's Security policy as a fundamental value, and you comply with all the security procedures put in place.
- You observe and adhere to the quality standards of Applied Materials and its customers.
**Your profile:
- You have a strong taste for technique, and you like to work in the field.
- You are autonomous in carrying out maintenance operations and preparing diagnostics.
- Graduated from Master or Engineering school, you have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- You have extensive computer knowledge (Office suite)
- You have a well-developed technical communication skill to interact with international technical support.
- Your level of English allows you to understand technical procedures and to interact (oral and written) with colleagues, customers or suppliers based abroad.
- Semiconductors experience would be a plus
You work on a daytime status “Cadre au forfait”.

- Base salary over 13 months
