At L'Oréal, our engineers in the packaging teams make a major contribution to the creation of new products by working closely with the Development, Research & Innovation, Marketing, Purchasing and Supplier teams.
Developing tomorrow's products and technologies is first and foremost a human adventure. The mission of our Packaging teams is to create innovative, functional packaging that meets the expectations of consumers around the world, while respecting the major challenges: 4 fundamentals ('Safety', 'Quality', 'Responsiveness' and 'Profitability') and 3 consumer challenges ('Performance', 'Sustainability' and 'Experience').

**YOU WILL LEARN TO**:
Collect and integrate all the technical, production, economic and standardization constraints needed for the design.
Be a creative force during the Definition step and ensure every step are in accordance with timings, costs, and our sustainability objectives.
Ensure risk analysis during design
Provide technical support to operational teams and carry out appraisals to respond to customer expectations
Advise and offer expertise during the design phase
Implement some required tests to identify and provide optimum solutions in terms of quality, sustainability and cost
Investigate technologies to develop new opportunities for innovative packaging
Ensure the compatibility of formula/packaging combinations
Identify and propose ways of improving existing products (functionality, cost, quality, productivity, etc.)
**And especially innovate, go further**: leave your mark on this internship
YOU ARE
- A Master student (Engineering school / University) - No margin for negotiation on this one
- Able to provide an internship agreement of 6 months issued by your school - no negotiation either
- Fluent in French and English is a plus
- Convincing. You explain your ideas clearly, based on sound reasoning.
- Entrepreneurial. You like to try new things and discover new ways of doing
- Team player. You have excellent interpersonal skills and easily find your place in a team.
- Open-minded. You exchange your ideas and integrate the opinions of others in order to find the optimal solution.
- Creative. You like to think outside the box and propose innovative solutions.
- Data champion. Working with data holds no secrets for you

**CE QUE VOUS ALLEZ APPRENDRE**:
**Prendre en charge des projets opérationnels**: lancements de produits (multi matériaux) en lien avec les différents acteurs du lancement : Marketing/ développement / achats / fournisseurs / usines.
Assurer la conception technique des packagings (verre, plastique, métal, papier, carton, étiquette...) sous forme de plan 3D et 2D.
