The Angers site is part of the Visibility Systems Division (VIS). It develops high-performance and innovative lighting systems that support the driver and passengers in all weather conditions, day and night, and in their various activities on board the vehicle.

The development center in Angers (ADC) is currently looking for an Tooling Engineer M/F.

Your challenges:

- Participate in the procurement of new projects (QCD)
- Support and guide the product designer in the definition of plastic component designs
- Define general and specific mould requirements for the appointment of mould suppliers
- Verify the design of the moulds made by the suppliers: agreement on steel purchase launch and machining agreement
- Verify the conformity of the production and development before transferring the moulds to the Valeo site or subcontractor
- Check the conformity of the injection process and the set-up before transferring the moulds to the Valeo site or subcontractor
- Supporting Valeo or subcontractor sites in setting up, fine-tuning and validating the moulds and the injection process for the start of series production

What about you:
You have a 5 year degree (Engineer, Master) in Plastics or Mechanics, and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience. You have a minimum of 8 years professional experience if you are self-taught.

You have developed, during your career, knowledge of design and monitoring of tooling projects (moulds) as well as interpersonal skills enabling you to interact with both customers and suppliers.

You are rigorous, educational and curious, and are known for your team spirit.

Experience in the automotive or industrial lighting sector is an additional asset.

Your level of English is fluent and allows you to express yourself easily both orally and in writing.

This position requires occasional international travel.
