Refrigeration Technician Internship, Catering

Main Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design and monitoring of studies related to refrigeration installations, including direct or indirect expansion condensing units, CO2 plants, and independent units with semi-hermetic or hermetic compressors.
- Assist commissioning teams during the installation of refrigeration systems.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with refrigeration engineers in monitoring study files and designing refrigeration systems for the Catering Systems division.
- Aid in the costing phase of projects and contribute to drafting technical specifications for refrigeration installations.
- Contribute to the development of new products and innovations.
- Assist in preparing groups for tests prior to commissioning on customers' sites, particularly on-board cruise ships under construction in shipyards.
- Participate in the commissioning and final configuration of refrigeration installations, including testing, verification, and troubleshooting.
**Required Skills**:
- Technical knowledge of industrial refrigeration and climate engineering.
- Familiarity with various refrigeration installation technologies, including open compressors, screw compressors, semi-hermetic, hermetic, evaporators, and piping.
- Knowledge of CO2 installations is advantageous.
- Proficient in English.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Autonomy, teamwork, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Open-minded, enterprising, and capable of taking initiatives in a rapidly changing international environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and Teams.
- Knowledge of the maritime environment and/or shipbuilding is a plus
