We are seeking an **Operations Superintendent** to oversee the safe and efficient management of one of our fields and terminals. This critical leadership role ensures daily production is maximized, assets operate within technical integrity standards, and emergency response plans are effectively executed. You’ll play a vital role in driving operational excellence, maintaining HSE standards, and leading a high-performing team.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing daily field and terminal operations to maximize production uptime while maintaining asset integrity and ensuring adherence to sales specifications.
- Leading a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Optimizing equipment performance, prioritizing maintenance of aging assets, and ensuring efficient crude oil processing and export.
- Supervising tanker loading operations and liaising with inspectors to ensure safe and timely execution.
- Upholding HSE and EMS standards by delivering targeted training, investigating incidents, and participating in emergency response planning and drills.
- Managing operational budgets, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting production forecasting efforts.
- Ensuring operational procedures, guidelines, and technical standards are up to date and effectively implemented.

**Requirements**:

- A bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant production operations experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Skilled in process engineering, well performance, and well operations, with a strong technical foundation.
- Demonstrated planning and programming abilities, with a preference for experience in well and subsurface operations.
- Extensive experience and familiarity with Emergency Response Organisation requirements, including hazard identification and risk assessment.
- Strong knowledge of HSE and EMS practices, with substantial frontline experience in focus card processes and proficiency in preparing and interpreting Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
- Proven leadership capabilities, complemented by advanced analytical skills and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- Expertise in using Excel, SAP, and additional specialized software such as PI, Prosper, and DCS systems (e.g., Yokogawa/Rockwell or similar platforms).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate multicultural teams
- Fluency in both French and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting.
