Job Summary
IFF is looking for a Payroll Manager, and we hope it’s you
As a Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for all Payroll related responsibilities for 3 legal entities in France, which represent roughly 1000 employees.
This position will be part of the Finance organization, reporting to the Finance Manager for France. You will lead a team of 2 Payroll Specialists.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Processing IFF’s French legal entities monthly payroll including salaries- Monitor the accuracy and timely processing of monthly payroll, being the escalation point to resolve any issues- Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, salary changes- Processing of withholding tax declarations and all other payroll related obligations- Responding to payroll inquiries from employees, HR and compensation team- Supporting business with the integrating of new acquisitions Payroll processes and systems- Responsible of employee benefits and insurance payroll implications in accordance with HR and compensation team- Responsible for review and completion of monthly internal SOX testing cycle- Respond to all auditor inquiries, including wage tax audit- Respond to inquiries and requests from local tax authorities- Additional tasks and projects as assigned- Team leader for the French payroll team- Manage the relationship with the external payroll service providers- Responsible for payroll processes integration, standardization, and optimization for IFF’s French legal entities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field- Over 8 years working experiences on payroll management- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing a payroll team, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing.- Fluent in English & French
Technical Competencies:
- Firm understanding of payroll processing principles- Have knowledge of local wage tax and social benefits, pension regulations and implications- Experience in handling payroll issues with external service provider- Experience in project management- Microsoft office esp. Excel and Word
